This really depends what in science you’re asking... the first thing that’s comes to mind is biased studies and analytics dismissing white communities, and diminishing black communities. Data can be cherry picked and recorded in more in low income communities rather than the suburbs.
In America, many low income communities can be predominately black because of systemic racism. Years going back to Jim Crow laws, where African Americans were forced into lower income communities to begin with. Data is used to criminalize these neighborhoods and the people living there.
