The focus on the visible world in renaissance art was called "naturalism."

The main difference that Renaissance art separates from medieval art is the focus on artistic realism. giving an emphasis on the man and the surrounding environment. Perfect proportion, the use of light as an element of emphasizing human nature, become important in Renaissance expression. The mystical aspects and teachings of the church are ignored. and perspective drawing is being developed. This focus on the visible world is called naturalism.
