Listening to Shame from Brene Brown
1. The ability to engage (to attract and involve in an activity) an audience is very important when delivering a complicated message. 2. How clear a message is also contributes to the overall effectiveness of a piece. Which of the resources, the TED Talk or the excerpt from Brown’s book, provided the most clearly understandable message? Did one source provide a more detailed explanation? Did one source provide a more effective way for the audience to identify with the message? Explain why using specific qualities and details from each source. (100 word minimum.)
3. Finally, use the analysis and evidence you’ve collected in the first two questions to evaluate which piece was most effective in communicating the message. Be sure to clearly identify your position and utilize evidence and elaboration to effectively support your argument. (200 word minimum.)
