Hi just wanted to know if 4/17 is a rational number or not. I think it's irrational because the decimals are unending different sets of numbers and a type of number that can not be put into fraction. But, savemyexams says its a rational number because its decimal is 0.23, but I checked the calculator, unless a characteristic of a rational number is to be able to turn it into decimal.. (but so can pie- 3.14,)
