I heard an eerie knock at the door, it was a cold and brisk night. I wondered who could be visiting at such a late hour, I was the only one left awake.
I slowly stumbled towards the door and opened it, but only by a small slither to try and stop the heat being sucked out into the darkness.
I looked around for a bit and saw nothing, I was about the close the door when I heard a shrieking cry. I looked down and saw a tiny plane blue cot holding a small baby, it was screaming and shivering in the cold night
I quickly flung the door open and grabbed the child, pulling it into the warmth of my small cottage.
There was no note or anything, who would leave a baby like this? And what was I meant to do with it?
I took the baby up to my parents room and cautiously knocked on their door, my dad decided to answer. He saw the child and gasped, it looked like the life had beer sucked out of him
His noise woke up my mother who has quite the opposite reaction, she looked surprised but happy as she took the small baby from my arms
Through the night I could hear them loudly arguing wether we should keep the baby or not
By the morning they had made their final decision to...
