Can someone please help me with this question?A student claims that if a coin is tossed and comes up heads 5 times in a row, then, according to the law of averages, the probability of tails on the next toss is greater than the probability of heads. What is your reply?
The probability of getting tails is still the same as the probability of getting heads. However, the probability of getting 6 heads in a row is lower than the probability of getting tails just once.
