If 0.2 gallons = .60 cents, how much is 1 gallon

The easiest way to do is to use the rule of three, and let x be the price of 1 gallon:

0.2 gallons --> 0.60 cents
1 gallon --> x

x = 0.60/0.2
x = 3

So, 1 gallon is 3 cents.
