My best friend and I were walking down the busy street after school on a warm Wednesday afternoon. My friend suddenly halted to a stop with no explanation. She then crouched down on her knees. I was curious but also confused since we were in a hurry to get to her house to start on a school project. Under a small box to the side I noticed a ball of black fur. My friend reached out her hands and brushed off the small, delicate kitten. I realized she had stopped to rescue this kitten out of the kindness of her heart.

I was with my brother, we were walking home from school. He was angry, disappointed and annoyed. He was yelling at his phone. I didn't know why he was yelling so I kept playing Fortnite on my phone. He hung up the phone after yelling for 10 minutes at most. He told me to keep walking and he would follow. He was panting like a dog so I told him to rest and tell me what was wrong. He was telling me how his best friend was leaving his friend group for a YT career. I of course didn't understand and told him "that's what I like to call a fake friend, you have more friends than just him, right?!" He smiled and got up and said let's go!
