The world's largest living structure is the Great Barrier reef, located on the coast of Queensland in northeastern Australia. It is built by billions of tiny organisms: the coral polyps (organisms related to a kind of anemones), in addition to about 900 islands and 3000 reefs. Yes, before you ask me, the Great Barrier Reef can be seen from Space.
