1. I would say after 9/11 our relationship with Islam has been weary because a lot of people make an assumption that they may be “dangerous” when 99% of them are harmless and are normal people.

A study estimated that 3.45 million Muslims were living in the United States, about 1.1 percent of the total U.S. population, the U.S. welcomes them and their cultures making a friendly relationship. Although 9/11 hit U.S. kind of though Islam was attacking and became cautious.
