Practice creating a dramatic scene. Create three to five sentences that paint an image in the reader’s mind. In each sentence include at least one of the f ollowing: simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, hyperbole, and connotation. Label each sentence with the device you used. (Note: You will not necessarily use all of these devices.)
