First of all ,one has to consider what persuasion means.To persuade by definition means to cause to think reasonably.Connotation is used as a tool of persuation when the words used to communicate something ,are words that carry much more meaning because they refer to ideas , they do not define those ideas.Then, by means of connotation one can intelligently convince a person that something is right or wrong, good or bad.
