This is my opinion- People struggle with knowing where they belong because everyone is different yet they want to be what society wants them to be because they don't want to be made fun of or get hurt. Like for instance the LGBT community hides in the closet because society thinks they are all sinners and they are disgusting. So some tend to stay in the closet so they aren't looked at as that way. It's also why we have groups at school all the time because everyone wants to be societies version of cool. Everyone just wants to be accepted which I guess is fine but also it makes everyone self conscious.
