start at negative 5 go up three to the left one and to do the other sode of thw graph, do the opposite
the equation would be re-written as

-y=-3x+5

and then, since you have to isolate y you would divide everything by -1 so your final equation would be this:

y=3x-5

So if it doesn't give you the numbers for x then you replace x with virtually any number as long as it fits on the graph and whatever you get is your number for y.

I'm gonna go the extra mile and solve 4 numbers for you that you substitute for x and show the work.

y=3(-1)-5
-4-5
9

(-1,9)

y=3(1)-5
4-5
-1

(1,-1)

y=3(-2)-5
-6-5
11

(-2,11)

y=3(2)-5
6-5
1

(2,1)

so you would graph
(-1,9)
(1,-1)
(-2,11)
(2,1)
