The organisms like Lantern fish is found mostly in the deep ocean zones. This is because these zones have no or very less light.
The ocean is divided into various zones, out of those there are very few zones that receive light. Say epipelagic zone receives maximum light.
But the zones that lies at the bottom of the ocean does not receive sunlight. So, the aquatic animals living there must have their own source of light to see objects there.
