In the Bohr model, the electron was supposed to flow in circular orbits. In the wave mechanical model, on the other hand, the electron positions are described by orbitals. Orbitals are not like orbits. In the wave mechanical model of an atom, the location of protons is inside the nucleus, however electrons are present in the most probable location.
