2. start day at the blair house, a short walk to the white house, attend morning church service at St. Matthews Cathedral, ceremony begins at 11:15 am with Harris being sworn in as vice president. Lady Gaga will be singing the national anthem during the ceremony. at noon Biden will be sworn in as president. Shortly after 2 pm they will be joined by former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, and the other former first ladies for a wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of the unknown soldier. after will take place the inauguration parade. Ending the day later at 8:30 pm EST will be several “celebrating america” performances including Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato, and several more.

3. the inauguration day this year will not include the inauguration ball, and there won’t be the huge crowds that would normally be able to be there.

4. inauguration day is so important because it is a day dedicated to celebrating the newly elected president of the United States.
