It is located at the bottom of the arm. At the bottom of the stage, there is a diaphragm. A diaphragm controls the amount of light that is projected onto the slide from the light source. When the slide was moved to the left, it appears to image appears to move to the right. And when the slide is moved to the right the fibers are moved left.
