how can I write a short story which depicts life as are refugee I need to include details of country of origin the journey and the destination

we did something like that In our class last year! Im guessing you know about the holocaust. well put yourself in their shoes and write something like a diary entry. I don't know about the last journey/destination part thought, sorry.
