It really helped emphasize systematic experimentation as the most valid research method, resulted in developments in mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology, and chemistry. These developments transformed the views of society about nature. Many people at the time had believed everything was created by god and they were surprised. it really changed how many people saw things/the world.
