how do i solve 7x-y=21

it is 3 because we multiply 3 and 7 and we get 21

The answer answer is actually -3 because you divided 7 from 21 and you get 3 then you divided -1 because the y has a negative sing on it and you want it to be positive. That is why the answer is -3
