First of all, if one is talking about stories and asks that question, then the answer would be that if a story doesn't have a conflict, then what's going on in the story? If there is no conflict, then there's probably not going to be a climax, either. So the whole story's pretty much only the exposition and rising action? In this case, yes.
Second of all, I don'e believe that life is perfect, really. I could think, "Life is just a bowl of cherries", and the next thing I know I get into a fight with the police playing Pokemon Go, because there's a Dragonite in the crime scene they're investigating. Not exactly perfect, right? Plus, everything just has to have karma and bad news and conflict in it. I don't think there's any denying it.
