Have you learned BPEMDAS? (Brackets, Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction) When simplifying an algebraic expression, the first thing you should start with is looking over the problem to see if there are brackets.

For example: 51(9 [33 - 27] + 18)
There are brackets. See that inside the two brackets that it says "33 - 27". Do it. You get 6.

Now this is the problem: 51(9 [6] + 18)
Now for the second step. Where are the parenthesis? You can see them. Inside it says "9 [6] +18". Since multiplication is always done before addition, do 9 [6] first. The answer is 59. Now this is the inside: "59 + 18". Find out the answer. It is 77.

Next step: 51(77)
What does a number right next to a parenthesized number mean? It means to multiply. So this is what you do: 51 x 77. And what's the answer? 3927.

So here you go! This is how to solve a simple algebraic expression. I hope you like this answer, please Brainliest me, and have a wonderful night! :D
