explain how dividing 720 by 9 is like dividing 72 by 9 well this is easy but i dunno

It is similar, because 720, because 720 has just an extra place value, so if you do 9 into 72= 8 , so 9 into 720 is 80.

basically all it is is you take off all the zeros, divide and then add the zeros back on
720=72/9=8+0=80
