According to US department of state archive the war provided great Britain a Normas territorial gains in North America but disputes over subsequent frontier policy and paying the wars expenses lead to colonial discontent and ultimately to the American revolution
They began taxing the colonists to pay off the war which angered the colonists since they felt they had no say and representatives in parliament. As the conflict between the colonists and progressed they passed more laws limiting the colonists freedoms and even had troops stay at their homes
