Area of triangle AEB

= 1/2 * base * height  

I am assuming that  H is the centre of AB , so

Area = x*x

= x^2.

6x^2 = (x + 5)^2

6x^2 = x^2 + 10x + 25

5x^2 - 10x - 25 = 0

x^2 - 2x - 5 = 0

x = [-(-2) +/- sqrt(2^2 - 4*1*-5)] / 2

x = -1.45, 3.45.
