can someone help me with algebra and explain it clearly

Algebra is a way of writing equations with letters. That would be called an algebraic equation.

There is 3 stages of algebra, 1,2,and 3.

For example 5x - 3x would be an example of an algebraic equation I believe since it uses letters to represent numbers.

Algebra basically has anything to do with solving equations with variables. This is a very brought explanation, but that's pretty much what it is.
