The height  from the lowest point of the arc.

Solution :

From the attached image we have to find the value of  h.

So,

[tex]cos \ 40^o = \dfrac{L-h}{L}\\\\0.76=\dfrac{25-h}{25}\\\\h = 25( 1- 0.76)\\\\h = 6 \ m[/tex]
