A bag contains 25 pieces of candy and each pieces of candy has a mass of 20 grams. A company produces 200 kilograms of this candy each day. If all of the candy the company produces each day is put into bags, how many bags of candy are produced in one day ?
Hint : 1 kilogram = 1,000 grams

25*20=500grams per 1 bag

200kg=200000g
weight of 1 bag times x bags=weight of all
500x=200000
divide both sides by 500
x=400
400 bags per day

use quadratic formula
for ax^2+bx+c=0

$\frac{-b+ \sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{2a}$+$\frac{-b- \sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{2a}$=$\frac{-2b}{2a}$=$\frac{-b}{a}$
