What is the solution to 8=3x+6y if you are solving for y

8 = 3x + 6y
- 3x - 3x
8 - 3x = 6y
-- ------ ----
6 6 6
1&1/3 - 0.5x = y
(substitute this equation into the original equation)

8=3x+6(1&1/3 - 0.5x)
