Beauty pageants are meant to pile an impressive amount of makeup on your face so you can get voted for the prettiest.
It already takes a huge toll on an adult, they think they didn't do good enough, they even resort to wearing tighter or more revealing clothing, and they might try and make alterations to their body.
Now let alone a child? A child that's just a little baby, the mothers are progressively forcing them to wear piles of makeup, and tight, revealing clothing. The judges are judging little children about how pretty they are. And that is very disgusting.
The mothers should not be pressuring their own children into something like this because it is very sexual for their ages, and it's self-esteem draining. Not to mention it's live television, so millions of people are judging you, and your child.
We don't even know what happens when the cameras aren't watching, the mothers might be verbally or physically abusing the child. They're too focused on trying to win that they don't understand what kind of pressure that puts on the child.
