Why do Scientists think the fossil record is incomplete?
A. Fossils decompose over time.
B. The formation of fossils is rare.
C. Only organisms with hard parts become fossils.
D. There are no fossils before the Phanerozoic.
Most organisms decompose. So like the mineralized bones themselves, the fossil record is an incomplete framework that scientists flesh out through additional methods. Exuse me if I am wrong.
