I would subtract 5.95 to 75.99 first and get a total of 70.04 and put it off to the side then I would find out what 7.5 of the total purchase is (75.99) and that is 5.70 rounded and in the paragraph it said "whatever one is bigger" and in this case the 5.95 is bigger so you would add that to your total and get $81.94
