i have this short assingment were i have to write a paragraph about why people supported the 18th amendment I'm finished but i would like for people to help me find and grammatical errors on it i use Grammarly for all the things i type but i use the free version so things go unnotenced so here is the paragraph

many people supported the temperance movement because it would keep people and families safe domestically and financially. one reason they supported the temperance movement was that it would protect families from domestic violence because when people are drunk they are sometimes violent. another reason for the 18th amendment was to help people be financially stable people that own bars made a lot of income while the men who spent money at the tavern were poor so the amendment helped people be financially stable additionally people concerned about temperance because people would skip work and that ruins a lot of things. finally, the 18th amendment was approved because kids were neglected by their alcoholic parents therefor the 18th amendment would help kids live a better life and be cared for.
