The lymphatic vessels are closely associated with the capillary beds
because some of the interstitial fluid that leaks from the lymphatic vessels
is picked up by the capillaries.
The interstitial fluid that leaks from the lymphatic vessels may causes
osmotic pressure which is why it is usually picked up by the capillaries.
The capillaries then returns them into the blood so that it can be
redistributed to the cells.
