Why wouldn't you write to your teacher the way you would write to a friend​

It is considered to be a bit disrespectful to write to a teacher in an unprofessional, casual manner, the way you would a friend because you aren't close on a personal level. Of course it depends on the teacher and subject of the letter/email/etc. as well.

I wouldn't write the same way to my teacher because then, it will be disrespectful and rude. The way I write to friends is just normal, nothing like "Yes ma'am or No ma'am". I always try to be as nice as possible to the teachers that way, They know they can trust me, But once I get comfortable with my teachers and know how they act, Then, I start being the way that I am with my friends, But I still remain respectful and kind, just not really to my friends. Lol, but Yeah. When I know I'm going to send a message, I always try to use the appropiate words. (Educational Words) When I know I am a bit mad with the teachers, I make them realize that I'm mad at them by using not harsh words like..Just a bit uneducational words, But yeah. How I write to my friends is...Uneducational sometimes. I still remain respectful to them.  

This is why I don't write the same way to teachers.
