Count the pulse in the thumb for 15 seconds by pressing the index finger and thumb together, then multiply by four.
Place the thumb over the heart, count the pulse for six seconds, then multiply by 10.
Place your thumb on the neck, just below the jaw line, count the pulse for six seconds, then multiply by 10.
Place the index and middle finger on the underside of the wrist, count the pulse for six seconds, then multiply by 10.
