Given the two points, [suppose their names are A and B] , A(-4,6) and B(4,2) you can find the gradient( M )of this line by the equation
y2-y1/ x2-x1 therefore
gradient(M)=2-6/4- (-4)
= 4/8 = 1/2

Use the formula equation of a line I.e
(Y=MX +C) and replace the x-coordinate and y-coordinate from ANY point, let’s say A(-4,6)..... where -4 is x and 6 is y, and dnt forget gradient(M)=1/2, like so:
Y=MX+C
6=1/2(-4) +C ————>(this is done to find C)
Therefore: C= 6 - 1/2(-4)
C=8<—

Finally to find equation of line in the form y=Mx+C , replace from the above answers:

Y=1/2x+8. Is the equation
