Question

Who here has had a lemon pound cake? Is it okay that mines a little firm around the edges? Will it make it less of a good cake? I'm trying to cook all this for family and I've still got to fix the actual meal in the morning... Do you think it will still be a good desert since I glazed it?

I have not had lemon cake, but I make awesome lemon sugar cookies. Or so people say! :)

I think it's ok if it's a teensy bit firm, as long as its not burnt. I think it'll be fine!!! Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I don't bake, but as long as it's not burnt it should be fine. It sounds like it'll be a good desert. I don't think anyone is expecting you to whip up a professionally done cake so if it's only a little firm it's completely fine.
