Claudette had to protest because she refused to gave up her sit to a white passenger on the bus in Montgomery, Alabama. She did it 9 months before Rosa Parks on March 2, 1955 . She was a 15-year-old black teenager, but because she was pregnant at a young age and spent Majority of her months in the United States Supreme Court fighting for equality. She was apart of the Civil Rights Movement.
