I can see how this is confusing, because of -2, but the slope is decreasing, so the question wouldn't say:

[tex]-3/5x - -2[/tex]

This happens to turn the -2 into a regular 2 with an addition (+) sign.

and since the graph has an input of 5 but an output of -3, the equation would be:

y = -3/5x + 2
