• The new Fugitive Slave Act allowed for capture and return of runaway enslaved people and this  extended the slavery and its enforcement beyond the South.

• The need for workman for the cultivation of Cotton and the productivity of the blacks in farm practice leads to the extension of Slaves and Slaves trade in the South.

2.  The enslaved African Americans resist the institution of slavery by rebelling and sabotaging work.

• Some of the African Americans escaped to other places like Canada, Mexico and sabotage work given to them by their owners.
