Family is a social institution or primary group that we may have been born into or joined by way of adoption. We often think of the 'traditional family' as husband, wife, and children;yet, this family pattern is not representative of all FAMILIES.

QUESTION:
WHY DO WE CALL THIS THE TRADITIONAL FAMILY? what are some variations in family life that we see in the communities? How is the family portrayed in the media and how has this changed over time??

Answer:

answer down below :)

Explanation We call it the traditional family because the world's society made the "traditional family" what we would call a "regular or common" family, or the structure of every household. Anything that deviates away from the norm of the traditional family includes blended families. Over time, the kinds of families changed as global acceptance changed. Now it is more common to see families of color on tv and same sex parent families as well.
