I currently live in Georgia and people literally don’t cook anything FUN. It’s the same ole Starbucks (I love this place tho no hate), Papa John’s, McDonalds, etc. However, I use to live in Singapore, so I’ll tell you about their food. most kids usually learn how to cook and such when they’re around 10-11. They’ll start by cooking alongside their parents, then as they get older (12-ish), they will start cooking food by themselves. They would ALWAYS have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Americans (at least in Georgia) don’t have breakfast (including me lol). In Singapore most families will put together meet, noodles, eggs, etc. It’s usually a healthy meal, but a good portion of food. I don’t exactly remember how to make any of the dishes, which is really sad. I do remember the names of a couple of the dishes, though. Vietnamese spring roll were a must (these are delicious!). Laksa (Depending on how much you take heat -spicy curry-). Char siew meats on rice and/or noodles (I love meat). Chili Crab (Super popular dish there, my dad loves it). Hainanese Chicken (One of my favourite local foods, practically melts your mouth). The next one is pretty basic (I don’t remember the name, if there is one), buts it’s noodles (usually rice), with some meat and veggies on top. Not exactly a Singaporean food, just really good. Hope this helps :)
