Argentina and Japan are on exactly opposite sides of the Earth. Is “down" in Japan the same direction as “down” in Argentina? Explain.

it depends on the definition of down. if down means south, then yes, they are the same. if down simply means towards the earth, then yes, down would be in the opposite directions relative to the earth.
