C and D definitely, and maybe A. Writing was good for trading, and to worship, how? Well to keep track of lore, and events. E doesn't really apply however. And B doesn't either. correct me if I'm wrong though.

The best example is the Sumerian civilization and their cuneiform writing system they used to write on clay tablets and register situations, events, important dates, and customs.
