All cells possess all of the following components except a nuclear membrane.
COMPONENTS OF A CELL:
- The cell is known to be the smallest and fundamental unit of life. It is, however, made up of certain components called organelles that perform specific functions in the cell.
- All living cells contain organelles such as vacuoles, cytoplasm, cell/plasma membrane, genetic material (DNA or RNA).
- However, not all cells contain a nuclear membrane, which is the membrane that bounds the nucleus of a cell. Nucleus is only present in eukaryotic cells but absent in prokaryotic cells.
- Therefore, all cells possess all of the following components except a nuclear membrane.
