After the jury began deliberations, the jurors drank several
bottles of wine. They then decided that to save time, they would
decide the case by flipping a coin. One juror accepted a bribe to
vote for one side and was upset because the coin toss went the
other way. Juror Randy was upset about the coin toss because
he had done a lot his own investigation of the scene. Tiffany
said that prosecutor told her that the defendant actually had
two prior convictions and that why he would not take the stand.
