Everything that is not apart of the story is in italic.
The Brave King
"Wraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" War cries in the distance. Its a deadly war but they have to keep pushing. The king the one that is suppose to lead his knights to victory has fallen. Or so they thought. Just seconds before his army bows to their worst known enemys you hear something that even makes the toughest, strongest, biggest knight tear up.
"Im still alive." King Richard said struggling to just barely get on his feet. He is almost dead and instead of choosing to surrender. He does something that will go down in history. With his last breath he said "The war must go on."
I gave you more than 50 becuase I'm genarous but you need to add more to the story so it doesn't end on a cliff hanger also it is to short to be a story. You can switch the names , the plot, the ending, etc. Again this is your assignment so you don't even need to use the lead that I wrote for you.
Answer:
The Brave King
Explanation:
Sacrifice. Royalty. Power. Wealth.
These terms are overused, too many people think these words are what defines a brave king. That may be so, but what about the kind-hearted men out there whose masculinity isn't fragile? That's where we meet Prince Raymond the Second, future king of UAK, the United American Kingdom. Prince Raymond is sweet, gentle, kind, and caring without a mean bone in his body. But beware, if you harm someone he loves, you can be assured certain death. His story starts when he was just eighteen.
'Sir, wake up. It is your eighteenth birthday today.' The Prince yawned, stretched, and looked at his servant, 'Can't you just give me five more minutes?' 'No, sir, I cannot. The King wishes to feast with you later this evening, and wants help planning your evening celebration with all of the eligible princesses from around the country.' Of course, Raymond thought. He needed to help his father right away. He jumped from his bed, pulling on his day clothes as fast as he could. A man with a height of 6'2, Raymond had to almost duck under his door frame, and he ran for the throne hall. Before he entered, he slowed to a walk, then signaled for the guards to open the large doors. He entered the throne room, and was greeted by his father. 'Son, we've much to discuss.'
As the meeting was coming to a close, the princesses started to arrive. Prince Raymond went for a walk in the royal garden, bu suddenly bumped into a maid tending a bed of roses. He tripped and clumsily landed on the ground. 'Oh my goodness, your Grace, please accept my humble apology! I hadn't seen you there!' The Prince looked up at her face and stared unintentionally for a minute. Her beautiful, long blonde hair was fish-tail braided to her waist, her bright blue eyes looked apologetically down on him, light freckles teased his eyes. High cheekbones and a fine jawline were some of her best features. She was so beautiful. Raymond realized he was starring, and quickly looked away. 'My dear girl, what is your name?' he asked. She looked at him, 'Sir, my name is Braelynn, at your service.' 'I don't think I've seen you around before.' 'Yes, sire, I am new here. My parents died in a fire in the village, and the King came to me and offered housing for work.' 'I'm sorry about that. And please, call me Raymond.' She blushed. 'Don't worry about my clumsiness, I didn't see you there tending the roses. As my apology to you, I would like to invite you to my birthday celebration later tonight. I will tell my servants to make you a gorgeous gown. Be there at 8, you will be on the guest list.' Breath taken, Braelynn couldn't figure out what to say. 'Thank you, Raymond.' she managed to stammer.
The Prince was crowned king an hour later, before the celebration. It was going to take all the courage that he could to get the attention of everyone in the courtroom and demand that the law that states princes have to marry eligible princesses be abolished. He said that you should have a chance to find a woman that you truly love, trust, and care for; not to be forced to marry royal blood. You would make many future queens happy about this. His father was proud of him, 'Son, you have made me proud. That is what a brave king would do.'
Braelynn was wearing a beautiful dress, a black floor-length gown with a silver floral pattern across her torso, spreading down to the ground. The corset was tightly fitted to her small frame, with a beautiful silver trim across the top. She wore a heavy diamond statement piece around her neck, in the shape of a small, delicate rose. Her silver earrings dangled small roses as well. She found Raymond by the fountain, and they danced the night away. She was falling in love, but he had already fallen. That next day, he announced that he would marry the serving girl, Braelynn. He feared he would be killed by the other princesses' fathers, but instead they congratulated him on letting his heart be brave and choosing what to do in his life. After that, he was known as The Brave King throughout the country. The King who let his heart lead.
I just made this story up off the top of my head, one thing led to another. This was fun! I hope it is a good read, sorry for any grammar/spelling errors.
