30 × 10 = 300.

Think of it as just 3 × 1, and save the zeroes for later. So 3 × 1 is 3, right?

Now add on the zeroes to the end of that 3. (30 has 1 zero, and 10 has 1 zero -- that's 2 zeroes we need to add back on.)

Therefore, the answer is 300.
